As one of the technology leaders, we actively drive the industry transformation: from mechanical to digital, and from manufacturing machines to process solutions along the entire workflow.

BOBST is driving connectivity: in a fully connected packaging production, all machines, tooling and systems will “talk” to each other. Stakeholders can access and share data, through a cloud-based platform.
Digitalization & automation
Through digitalization and automation, BOBST is changing the way packaging is produced. End-to-end digitalized solutions are being developed offering a seamless quality of production to converters, enabling more productivity, reducing waste and an ever-increasing quality.

Our emission reduction ambitions – validated by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi): from our direct operations (Scope 1 & 2) from our procurement, machine use, and transport (Scope 3) (Scope 1 & 2) based on a detailed decarbonization plan for three production sites in Europe. 2025 focuses on four Chinese production sites.

We work with over 1 500 suppliers to uphold high standards in social responsibility, environmental practices, and ethical sourcing, ensuring transparency and resilience in our supply chain.

Third-party documentation and 360° analysis: Comprehensive external audits and risk monitoring.

People are the foundation of our success
BOBST Communities connect employees across regions and cultures, fostering collaboration, learning, and shared experiences. Launched globally in 2024, the initiative brought together over 450 employees from Switzerland, China, India, Italy, France, and Brazil to share knowledge and develop new skills.

Celebrating progress and inspiring the future
Our people drive industry transformation and a more sustainable future. To honor their ingenuity, we created the Inventor Award. In 2024, Tim Lair, Additive Manufacturing Engineer, received it for his outstanding contributions, embodying our spirit of innovation and growth.
BOBST earned the EcoVadis Silver Medal for the second year in a row, ranking in the top 15% of companies for ESG performance. Our pioneering work in sustainable packaging was recognized by the Roll-to-Roll Association.
