FRONT OFFICE Dave Beck

Vice President of Partnership Marketing Dave Beck joined Bobcats Sports & Entertainment as Vice President of Partnership Marketing in May 2013. Beck is responsible for generating revenue growth for the organization and marketing success for its corporate sponsors, as well as overseeing the department responsible for both new partnership sales and current partnership services. Beck came to the Bobcats from the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer, where he most recently served as Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. Under Beck’s leadership, the Fire’s corporate partnerships department was recognized as Major League Soccer’s 2012 Corporate Partnership Team of the Year after launching the second jersey partnership in club history with Quaker Oats. In addition, the Fire garnered industry-wide recognition for creative sports marketing programs, including the team’s Integrated Marketing Approach (IMA) model that delivers sponsorship growth and engagement across multiple platforms. Beck’s 16-year career has also included executive positions in sales, marketing and operations at Procter & Gamble and Wrigley. As Senior Director at HAVI Global Solutions, his team managed key packaging and raw materials for all McDonald’s restaurants in North America and developed strategic relationships with leading global packaging manufacturers. Beck received his undergraduate degree in economics and government from Cornell University, where he was a member of the Big Red basketball team. He earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, with concentrations in Marketing, Management and Strategy.

Rhonda Curry

Vice President of Human Resources Rhonda Curry is in her first season with Bobcats Sports & Entertainment after joining the organization as Vice President of Human Resources in October 2013. In this role, she oversees the department responsible for employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, payroll and the internship program, as well as helping to define the company’s human resources policies and procedures and company culture. Curry brings over 16 years of experience in consumer product and service organizations to the organization. She most recently served as Director of Human Relations with Bimbo Bakeries USA, joining that company in November 2011 when it acquired Sara Lee. Curry, who had been with Sara Lee as Director of Human Resources since November 2007, played an integral role in the transition of Sara Lee’s employees following the acquisition. Prior to joining Sara Lee, Curry spent eight years with Pepsi Bottling Group. After starting with the company as Manager of Human Resources in 2000, she was promoted to Senior Manager of Diversity & Staffing in 2002 and later to Senior Manager of Human Resources in 2005. Curry is a 1996 graduate of Ohio University with bachelor’s degrees in management and organizational communication. She earned a master’s in human resource management from Widener University in 2003.

Kim Henderson

Vice President of Community Relations and Executive Director of the Cats Care Foundation Kim Henderson is in her second season with Bobcats Sports & Entertainment as Vice President of Community Relations and Executive Director of the Cats Care Foundation. She oversees the organization’s social responsibility, community partnerships and philanthropic efforts. Henderson joined the organization from Presbyterian Hospital/Novant Health, where she most recently served as Senior Director of Corporate Relations & Sponsorships. In that role, Henderson built and managed Novant’s partnership with the Bobcats beginning with the team’s inaugural season in 2004. Henderson serves on the Discovery Place Board of Trustees, Allegro Foundation Board of Directors, American Heart Association Go Red Executive Team, Autism Speaks Board of Directors, Johnson C. Smith University Board of Visitors and is a member of Women Executives. She has also served on the boards of directors for the Arts and Science Council, United Way of the Central Carolinas and WTVI. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Henderson earned her MBA from Queens University of Charlotte, completed the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development and acquired her Project Management certificate from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She also received the Charlotte Business Women of the Year Fellowship in 2011. Henderson is married to Patrick McLoughlin and has a daughter, Evelyn Megan.
