MASSAGE 1

Massage the front right side of the guest’s scalp with the Pramāsana™ Exfoliating Scalp Brush using light friction motions, moving from the front of the ear to the midline. Massage for 20 seconds.

2 Repeat on the back right side, front left side and back left side.

Place the bristles of the brush on the front right side of the guest’s scalp, and massage using circular, friction motions, gently lifting and moving the scalp tissue in an upward direction. Repeat in two more areas.

4 Repeat on the back right side, front left side and back left side.

Massage 2

Place your right hand on the back the guest’s head and your left hand on the forehead. Gently press your hands together, hold the pressure for five seconds and then slowly release the pressure for five seconds. Repeat twice.

Place your hands on either side of the guest’s head. Gently massage the scalp with your fingertips using circular, friction motions.
Using your index or middle fingers, massage the following marma points using slow, circular, friction motions for 10–15 seconds:
• Massage point 1 (Simanta): Located on the midline 2–4 cm from the front hairline

• Massage point 2 (Simanta): Located on the midline halfway between the front hairline and the crown
• Massage point 3 (Adhipati): Located on the midline 1–3 cm past the crown
• Massage point 4 (Utkshepa): Located 3–4 cm behind the top of the ear
• Massage point 5 (Shanka): Located at the temples
Place your hands on either side of the guest’s head with your thumbs positioned toward the back hairline. Clamp your fingers and thumbs together, gently lifting the scalp tissue. Repeat over the entire scalp.







Note: If the guest is reclined, place your hands on either side of their head with your thumbs positioned toward the front hairline.

At the guest’s front hairline, position your thumbs facing each other and two centimeters apart. Press your thumbs toward each other, gently lifting the scalp tissue. Reposition one thumb above the other, remaining two centimeters apart. Press your thumbs toward each other, gently lifting the scalp tissue. Repeat over the entire scalp.

Using your fingers and thumbs, tap over the entire the scalp using quick, pinch-like motions.

Using your right middle finger, massage the following pressure points along the guest’s occipital ridge using circular, friction motions, moving from the midline to the right:
• GV 16 (Governing Vessel 16 or Wind Mansion): Located on the midline of the occipital ridge below the external occipital protuberance
• B 10 (Bladder 10 or Heavenly Pillar): Located on the occipital ridge approximately one finger’s width from the midline
• GB 20 (Gall Bladder 20 or Heaven’s Gate): Located on the occipital ridge approximately two fingers’ width lateral to B 10
2 Repeat on the left side, using your left middle finger and moving from the midline to the left.

Place your hands on either side of the guest’s scalp with your fingers extended. Massage the scalp using circular, friction motions and medium pressure.
