Updating your Virus Definitions
To update your definitions, look down at your System Tray (down where the clock is) and find the Symantec symbol. If you don’t see it there, then click on the up arrow, to see the rest of the icons.
Once you locate the Symantec Icon, right click on it, and click on Open Symantec Endpoint Protection.
Click on the words, Live Update‌
This box will appear. When it is finished updating the button on bottom will change from the word cancel to close. Once it says close, you are free to close out of Symantec.
