Editor’s LETTER
Happy summer holidays everyone! It’s so nice to bring you a properly sunny and summery edition of BN5, with the glorious weather we’re enjoying (as we go to print anyway!) It looks as if we might get a hot Henfield Summer Show and we’re looking forward to bringing you all the pictures and news from the show in our September edition. St Peter’s School have had an incredibly busy term, after all the hard work of SATS tests (boo, hiss) the children enjoyed some fun with a very professional production of Joseph, a sunshiney Summer Fete and a fun-filled sports day and picnic. They also proudly raised the cup at the Chanctonbury Schools Cricket Festival - congratulations to all the children involved. Sarah met with Small Dole artist Liz de Pauley who has the enviable job of ‘Artist in Residence’ at Horsham Museum. Liz has uncovered some wonderful artefacts and enjoyed digging around in the museum archives, read her story on page 30. She’s exhibiting at Horsham Museum so do pop along and view her work. We wish you all a wonderful summer holiday and look forward to hearing all your news and events for September issue.
