It is our honor to welcome you to the 2024 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX!
This year, we celebrate BMW Manufacturing’s 30th anniversary in the Upstate, a milestone that underscores the enduring partnership between BMW and our vibrant community. Fans will gather this week at two of the Upstate’s premier courses, Thornblade Club in Greer and The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, to witness toptier golf as professionals team with amateurs and celebrities.
While our evening events promise unforgettable experiences, our commitment to charitable causes remains at the core of this tournament. This year, we proudly support Gibbs Cancer Center and Research Institute, Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, Neighborhood Cancer Connection, and welcome new partners Folds of Honor Palmetto State Chapter, Friends of the Reedy River, The Hispanic Alliance, PAL: Play. Advocate. Live Well Spartanburg, and Upstate Warrior Solution.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated sponsors and tireless volunteers. Their support makes this event possible.
Whether you’re a local or have traveled from afar, we warmly welcome you to a week of spectacular golf and community spirit.
Warm regards,
Bob Stegner, President

It is my pleasure to welcome you this week on behalf of everyone associated with the Korn Ferry Tour, from our dedicated staff, current membership and alumni, to the countless volunteers and proud sponsors.
This week, you have the unique opportunity to connect with and follow the next generation of PGA TOUR stars. Last season on the PGA TOUR, Viktor Hovland became the seventh Korn Ferry Tour alum to win the FedExCup, Wyndham Clark’s victory at The Open marked the 29th major championship won by Korn Ferry Tour alumni, and Scottie Scheffler was named the Player of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.
The next Scottie Scheffler is in this field. You can watch the next Wyndham Clark warm-up on the range. You can walk with the next Viktor Hovland at this event. You can witness the next Will Zalatoris hoist a trophy on the 18th green. You can take home an autograph from the next Max Homa. You can see the next Tony Finau accomplish a lifelong goal and secure a PGA TOUR card. Those alumni are among the multitude of PGA TOUR winners who rose to stardom after graduating from the Korn Ferry Tour.
The Korn Ferry Tour will shape the foundation of future Presidents Cup teams, produce another No. 1 player in the Official World Golf Ranking, prepare the next FedExCup champion and possibly a major championship winner. All those possibilities come into focus on the Korn Ferry Tour. As PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan declared last year, the Korn Ferry Tour is golf’s ultimate proving ground.
You are joining us at an exciting time in our 35-year history.
The 2024 Korn Ferry Tour season will see our membership compete across 26 events and six countries for 30 PGA TOUR cards. The Korn Ferry Tour continues to attract a robust group of international members and will capture more emerging talent through PGA TOUR University.
Thank you for your support of the Korn Ferry Tour and our tournaments, and I hope you have a tremendous experience this week as you watch the next generation of PGA TOUR stars lay the foundation of their respective legacies.
Have fun this week, Alex Baldwin
Korn Ferry Tour President
Welcome to the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX. We are excited to have two beautiful Upstate South Carolina golf courses hosting this event from June 6-9, 2024. We are pleased to be back at Thornblade Club and The Carolina Country Club for the 23rd playing of this tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour.
We look forward to four exciting days as professional, celebrity, and amateur players hit the greens. A warm welcome to those new to the tournament and welcome back to all returning participants. We are thrilled to share that this year’s event promises to be as exhilarating as ever, with plenty of surprises and activities for everyone. All of the action will once again be broadcasted to a worldwide viewing audience on the Golf Channel.
Since its inception in 2001, the tournament has donated over $15 million in charitable giving. This year, the tournament will benefit eight specific charities: Folds of Honor Palmetto State, Friends of the Reedy River, Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute, Hispanic Alliance, Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, Neighborhood Cancer Connection, PAL: Play. Advocate. Live Well, and Upstate Warrior Solution (UWS).
This year also marks a special milestone for us as BMW Manufacturing celebrates its 30th anniversary in South Carolina. For three decades, our Plant Spartanburg associates have been dedicated to assembling premium quality vehicles, and we are equally proud of the charitable giving and positive impact this golf tournament has on our local community.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, participants, and spectators for making this a great tournament. We hope you have a fantastic experience and enjoy this year’s event!
Kind regards,
On behalf of TD SYNNEX, I am pleased to welcome you to the 2024 BMW Charity Pro-Am.
As the presenting sponsor for the past 13 years, the tournament has been an integral part of our company’s story.
Each year along with BMW, we enjoy hosting the players, celebrities, and spectators who visit the Upstate for this great event. It’s a pleasure to show off the place we call home, including our thriving downtown, golf courses and clubs. It’s also fun being with so many locals who attend the tournament.
But what’s most important about the tournament week is the impact it has on our greater community. In 2024, this will include assisting local cancer patients, providing meals to homebound citizens, cleaning up our local rivers, and advancing active living, promoting healthy eating and fostering healthy equity.. TD SYNNEX is humbled to have played a part in the nearly $16 million raised since the tournament’s inception in 2001, and we look forward to seeing this number climb in the years ahead.
Our merger in 2021 with Tech Data created the world’s largest IT distribution company. And just as the BMW Charity Pro-Am is about more than golf, TD SYNNEX is about more than IT distribution. Our story is largely about getting involved the communities we serve. And the tournament is just one of the many ways our more than 1,000 Greenville associates are able to give back.
We Hope you have a great time enjoying the golf and meeting a few celebrities this week. And while you’re at it, we invite you to learn more about the tournament’s philanthropic impact. Remember, it’s never too late to find a small way you can give back to Greenville or whatever community you call home. We believe that together, everyone can make a difference. From all of us at TD SYNNEX, we hope you enjoy the tournament.
Sincerely,
Bob Stegner President, SCCI Board of Directors Senior Vice President, Marketing, North America, TD SYNNEXSOUTH CAROLINA CHARITIES, INC. (SCCI), the non-profit foundation of the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX, was created in order to showcase the beauty of Upstate South Carolina and the hospitality of its citizens to the world; to create an event that brings the Upstate a fun and entertaining week centered around professional athletes and world renowned celebrities; and raise money and awareness for South Carolina charities. Since 2001, the tournament has distributed nearly $16 million to charities in the Upstate, part of the PGA TOUR’s $3 billion raised for charity. The BMW Charity ProAm presented by TD SYNNEX is the only tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour where amateurs and celebrities are grouped with Korn Ferry Tour professionals in a three-day better-ball competition over two courses. Amateurs, celebrities and professionals rotate between the two courses, Thornblade Club, and The Carolina Country Club on Thursday and Friday with the 6 lowest scoring amateur teams from each division and the two lowest scoring celebrity teams from each division advancing to play Saturday’s final round at Thornblade Club. The lowest 65 pros (and ties) will play on Saturday and Sunday at Thornblade Club. Visit BMWCharityGolf.com for updates and information, and follow the tournament on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram @bmwcharityproam.

FOLDS OF HONOR PALMETTO STATE provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. Our educational scholarships support private school tuition or tutoring in grades K-12, tuition for college, technical or trade school, and postgraduate work. Appreciation for U.S. military service members and first responders is the single most unifying position held by Americans. On this we agree: those who protect our freedom and our families deserve our unwavering support.
FRIENDS OF THE REEDY RIVER is a volunteer-run nonprofit, founded in 1993, committed to conserving and enhancing the Reedy River through advocacy, education, and action. FoRR is the only organization devoted solely to protecting, preserving and restoring this historically overused and neglected river. For 150 years, the Reedy has played an indispensable role as an economic generator to the Greenville area. Today it serves as the focal point of a 30-year business and tourism revitalization in the Greenville. Yet, with surges in population and business growth, FoRR recognizes that it is more important than ever to be proactive in addressing potential negative impacts on the Reedy. We do this through river cleanups, riverbank collapse prevention, natural runoff control installations, educational programs, science-based civic involvement, water quality monitoring, and collaboration with like-minded conservation nonprofits, committed citizens and local government.
