Residency: A minimum of one day before application. Documents: Passports, birth certificates,a sworn affidavit stating that neither party has been married. Decree absolute needed for divorcees. If widowed, then the death certificate of your previous spouse required. If your name has been changed by deed poll then you need legal proof.
