Apprenticeship in Business and Administration

Entry Requirements English and Mathematics to a sufficient level to enable successful completion of the Apprenticeship. Interview and Basic Skills initial assessment. Course Description This Apprenticeship is aimed at general office administrative personnel. A key role within any office; this apprenticeship trains and records competence against various activities including telephone call handling, general office systems, diary management and data systems handling. Delivery and Assessment Methods This Apprenticeship can be delivered entirely in company or on a college day release basis. The NVQ element of this qualification is assessed on work performed in a business and administrative role against a selection of units. The technical certificate and key skills elements are a mixture of coursework and external examination. Progression Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration Entry Requirements Must be employed in a responsible administrative capacity. English and Mathematics to a sufficient level to enable successful completion of the Apprenticeship. Interview and Basic Skills initial assessment. A basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
