Impact CB Young Professionals
Impact CB is the young professionals' arm of the CB Chamber. This group offers free membership to any young professional, between the ages of 18-40, who is employed by a chamber member. Impact CB offers opportunities for professional development, networking, volunteering, and civic engagement. They hosted 20 events in 2022 with over 250 young professionals attending throughout the year including an art tour of Council Bluffs on Ollie the Trolley and volunteering for Do Good Week with the Midlands Humane Society. New this year, Impact CB established Foodie Fridays, a series of monthly networking lunches, and the Snacks & Spotlight Series to highlight chamber members. To grow and diversify the group, Impact CB added two new members to its executive committee.

Impact CB members participated in an public art tour hosted by Iowa West Foundation.
In 2022, the CB Chamber’s Ag Committee held its first Ag Cookout since 2019, and it was a huge success. The Ag Committee recognized the Annual Yield Contest winners and awarded college scholarships to invest back into the ag community. The committee continues to monitor the Farm Bill Congress will pass in 2023 as well.
