Classes to Create Seasonal Floral Motifs

Jim DelPrince, horticulture specialist with the Mississippi State University Extension Service, will present the “Fresh Fall Floral Designâ€? workshop on November 19, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to noon and the “Deck the Halls! Swag, Centerpiece, and Garlandâ€? workshop on December 4, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ,Q WKH IDOO Ă RUDO GHVLJQ ZHELQDU KH will demonstrate how to design a buffet
table arrangement and provide time for students to recreate their versions while receiving critiques to help improve their skills as they complete their projects. The registration deadline for this workshop is November 5, 2020; and the $175 fee covers all course materials including Ă RZHUV WKDW ZLOO EH VKLSSHG RQH WR WZR days in advance. Participants in the day-long Christmas Ă RUDO ZRUNVKRS ZLOO FUHDWH WKUHH GHVLJQV using fresh evergreens to decorate their homes for the season including a door
VZDJ LQ D à RUDO IRDP FDJH D IUDJUDQW HYergreen table centerpiece, and a garland. The deadline to register for this workshop is November 20, 2020; and the $250 fee covers the greenery and supplies that will be shipped before the workshop. The workshops are being held to make participants aware of MSU Extension’s Master Floral Designer program. Registration is also open for the spring semester Phase I portion of Master Floral Designer online.
