erit Health Natchez, Mississippi, employees and medical staff are so grateful to the Natchez community and support of the continued efforts to provide encouragement, emotional support and even laughter for their employees. As the staff wrapped up 2020, they played with llamas, a bird, and couple of therapy dogs, provided by Mississippi Therapy Animals. Employees enjoyed a surprise visit from the Grinch; and, of course, Santa Claus made his way through the hospital. The much awaited arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine in late December, administered to employees and physicians, was an important step in helping to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
