What drew you to the Real Estate industry?
What was the highlight of your real estate career in 2022?


2022 means a lot for me because it was my first full year at Blue Zone Realty, and if I have to pick one highlight, I would say it is the opportunity to help all my clients achieve their goals. Both sellers and buyers place all the trust in our hands and with integrity, dedication, professionalism and passion we always find the best option for them. The commitment with our clients is the most important part of our daily work.
What is the 1 thing that you think all new residents should experience in this area?



If we talk about local experiences, I think all new residents should experience the beauty of Christmas time in Costa Rica: the amazing sunsets once the rainy season is over, the festivals of lights, the bull rides, the “ tamales” (local food) and all the other different local traditions. Also, another great date to live for is the Independence Day on September 15. If we talk about adventures, I think everyone should experience a whitewater rafting trip on the Savegre River, which is the cleanest river in Central America.

What is your favorite restaurant along the Costa Ballena?

My wife and I’s favorite restaurant is Scala. Outstanding food, great drinks, and amazing atmosphere. But if someone asks me about a local food recommendation, I would definitely suggest “Happy Lobster” restaurant. Great and fresh seafood.

In your opinion, what sets Blue Zone Realty International apart from other local real estate firms?

What are your predictions for the real estate market in 2023?

I believe that 2023 will be a very important year for the real estate market in Costa Rica, but mainly in the South Pacific Zone. With the upcoming wellplanned commercial projects, hospitals, schools, airports, and residential/commercial beach developments, many people around the world want to have a piece of paradise in our beautiful region of Costa Ballena. Personally, I am glad that our area has grown a lot and continues to have the same essence of purity, nature, peace and harmony. The warmth and authencity of the “ticos” make such a big difference when deciding where to live. The current world situation and the delicate events throughout different countries have made people want to find a safe place to: invest, live and escape the chaos. What does your typical “off day” look like, when you are not with clients?
I believe real estate agents work 365 days a year, however, as soon as I have some free time, the first thing I want to do is spend time with my amazing wife. We are always doing adventurous things and exploring new places. Sometimes we just get in the kayaks and paddle down the river to the ocean to watch the sunset and that’s one of the most relaxing ways to recharge, connect with nature and appreciate what’s right around the corner.
