ge, re o ge I was a carer for both my disabled parents who are wheelchair bound. I started working in care after seeing the excellent care my grandfather had while he was residing in a nursing home on the Scottish island of Bute. I knew from then on that I wanted to give back to those who need it and since then I have always worked from the heart I believe that you should treat those how you want to be treated and a happy care worker makes a happy customer

I am the Office Manager of Bluebird Care Epping & Harlow and the daughter of owners Tracey and Kevin McCormack. I am responsible for the day to day running of our Epping & Harlow branch. My role allows me to meet inspirational people with the most amazing stories and set up the best possible tailored care according to their wishes and needs. I also ensure our fantastic team here in Epping & Harlow are well mentored, trained efficiently and are given the right guidance to help them deliver the highest quality of care.

I am one of the care supervisors fo Bluebird Care Redbridge and have been in the care sector since 2014. As a care supervisor my main responsibility is to provide ongoing support and care to all customers and care assistants. I enjoy making a difference to the customers and enjoy working for Bluebird Care Redbridge. My career in care has been around 15 years now. When I first started, I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I have definitely found my calling. I joined Bluebird Care Redbridge in 2021. Visiting customers, doing the assessment, and ensuring they have everything they need is one of my favorite parts of my job. Seeing a care package come together to provide the best results for our customers is what I enjoy most.

I joined Bluebird Care Redbridge in December 2020 as the HR & Recruitment Supervisor. I have an extensive recruitment background within healthcare and have a passion for care. I believe that customers should expect high quality care and be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Interview with Karin - Senior Carer

I have been working for Bluebird Care for nearly 9 years, I am now a Senior Carer. I started my career within the care industry as a Nurse back in my hometown (Johannesburg, South Africa) when I was 18. I loved that I was able to make a difference in people’s lives. I was working as a Nurse for 7 years until I got married and had my daughter. Once my daughter had grown up, we moved to England about 19 years ago, my husband is from Belgium he wanted to move back to Europe. I thought this would be a good time to look at getting back into the care sector. I got in contact with Bluebird Care as they were local to where I live. I saw they had good reviews and came highly recommended. They invited me in for an interview, and I got the position, I was so excited to get the chance to make a difference again.
