WHAT’S NEW? BLUE BEAR FIDI & LOWER HAIGHT! We now offer private guitar, bass and ukulele lessons in the FiDi (Financial District) at 1 Sansome St., with times available Monday-Friday 11 am-9 pm. Dan Dewitt, the primary instructor, will be opening other Neighborhood Blue Bears soon! And Little Bears classes are coming to the new Haight Ashbury Art Center.

EDM/DJ/AR CLASSES! Blue Bear offers three cuttingedge classes for tweens and teens — The Art of DJing, Creating Electronic Dance Music and Augmenting Reality w/Music & Sound. And for adults, we’ll have an Intro to EDM class in our digital studio, plus an Intro to DJing at the SF club Monarch, learning on a world-class sound system!

BLUE BEAR — SAN FRANCISCO LEGACY BUSINESS Earlier this year the SF Small Business Commission granted Blue Bear status as a Legacy Business — a business that is more than 30 years old (46 and counting) that has made a significant impact on the history or culture of its neighborhood.

NEW LITTLE BEARS DIRECTOR Stephanie Lamond became Blue Bear’s new Little Bears Director this past June. Previously a piano teacher at the Bear, her eclectic background includes music/brain research in college, assisting with music summer camps for children and other work in the music biz.
