Welcome to the New Age! Retro is in once again. Whether you‘ve noticed the latest hipster upcycling cafe around the corner while drinking your organic matcha latte, or pricked up your ears to some 80s and 90s music in the club, anyone who wants to stay on trend has to look back a few decades to keep up. On the snowboarding scene, things are just the same. While we always look forward to putting on grandpa?s neon onesie on for Gaper Day, we are somehow reluctant to squeeze into the hard boots from yesteryear and pull out our carving turns on the raceboard. So, how are we going to go retro? The keywords are: New Age Carving. This means snowboards with an old-modern shape that allow you to pull off some swinging snow turns. Wide-nose shapes are designed for the powder, while camber boards also give you enough edge on the slopes. And the best thing is that all you have to do is simply slip your soft boots into the bindings and voilà! Brands such
