Cole Blake ‘10 finished walking the Appalachian Trail last spring. There are several ways to walk the trail. Most start at Springer Mt. in Georgia and walk north to Mt. Katahdin in Maine. Some hikers start north and walk south. His father Bill Blake ‘77 writes, “Cole is a flipflopper. He started at Raven Rock, MD near Thurmont and walked to Maine (1160 miles). He then came home, returned to Raven Rock and headed south - 2200 miles total.” Bill reports Cole has taken a job in Chattanooga as a contract manager doing restaurant work. Coach Ritchie Schell reports that Michael Turner ‘11 recently graduated from Harvard’s Business School. Michael received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and played football as a starting cornerback for four years for the Big Red. At BL, Michael was a two-time All-MIAA “B” Conference football player. Coach Schell, who coached him for four years on the gridiron at BL, remarked, “Michael was a great player and a fantastic student here at BL.” He most recently worked for McKinsey & Co. in New York City.
