can become those who bear fruit for the Kingdom of God being transformed like Jesus from glory unto glory! Would we see and show others Jesus? Then, like him, let us empty ourselves, seeking to first love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength – for how can we give what we do not already have? Seek first his Kingdom and Righteousness! How do we do this? Here is a portion of St. Paul’s direction to the church in Rome: “Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality” (Rom. 12:9-13). Then, after we have found and loved our Lord and had our lives made over after the pattern of his cruciform life, we can be conduits of his love flowing back into the world. When asked to see Jesus, may our lives and words show the way! The Rev. Forrest Tucker, ’13 Fr. Tucker serves as a church-planting rector at Church of the Incarnation in Billings, Montana, where he lives with his wife, Rebekah and their six children.
