Lawrence Gledhill of Ngamahau Fishing Fresh Fish, in Kent St, Picton, has been in the fishing game for more than 35 years, and as a fish retailer for the past 20 years. All the fish in his counter is caught locally, except for the salmon that is from Stewart Island, but smoked by his team. He sells to a lot of local restaurants and chefs, and his fish stand is a familiar sight at the Sunday Farmers’ Market in Blenheim.
