Scientist inspires
By Celeste Alexander
There’s some ground breaking medical research taking place in New Zealand which is proving that the immune system can be used and manipulated naturally to change disease outcomes, and at the helm is Blenheim born Scientist, Graham Le Gros.
Graham visited the region last week as part of a function organised and sponsored by Grant Baxter of Bayleys. Speaking to the Sun, Graham shared his memories of growing up in Blenheim and a teacher who inspired him to pursue science as a career. Continued on page 2.
Blenheim born Graham Le Gros is a director and professor at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research, based in Wellington.
