But for those who have not, Anna has worked for many years in the sheep farming industry as well as having shepherded for 25-years. She has also written a series of columns for the farming paper CountryWide and more recently for Rural News and a magazine titled Young
Country about the care and training of working farm dogs. Y-7397685/01 In addition to her writing, Anna also travels around the country teaching people dog training and will be starting her South Island tour in Seddon next week. Her belief that a young dog will only be as good as his capabilities, your knowledge and the time you invest in it will be the focus on the training day. “If you are interested in training Huntaway’s and Heading dogs I guarantee you will enjoy the day and will go away inspired,” she says. For more information or to register for her training day, contact Anna on 027 28 44 639.
