He received a pre-charge warning and was later released. Saturday, March 9 · At 12.05am a 23 year old female was arrested on Kinross St outside the Loft for disorderly behaviour. She was later released when sober with a pre charge warning · At 2.50am an 18 year old unemployed male was arrested on Scott St for breaching the liquor ban. · At 13.10pm a 25 year old unemployed male was arrested for taking a 4lt container of motor vehicle oil from the Warehouse. He received a pre-charge warning and was released. Sunday, March 10 · At 4.55pm an 18 year old unemployed male was arrested after trying to steal a flat screen TV from the Warehouse. He failed in his attempt and received a pre-charge warning. Incidents and accidents · On Saturday police attended a single vehicle accident on State Highway 1 near 17 Valley. The vehicle had been heading south when the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle. The driver was taken to Wairau Hospital by ambulance. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
Monday overnight arrests ·At 9.30am a 27 year old unemployed male was arrested on warrent for failing to appear in the Blenheim District Court. ·At 11.30am a 17 year old male student was arrested for being in possession of cannabis and cannabis bong. He received a precharge warning and was released · At 2.10am a 18 year old unemployed male was arrested on Alabama Rd after he was discovered on a property in Maxwell Rd. A member of the public alerted police that a male had been on the property and followed him in his vehicle alerting police to where he could be found. The defendant has been charged with being unlawfully on property · At 5am a 25 year old male was arrested at a Litchfield address he has been charged with failing to stop for red and blue flashing lights and driving whilst disqualified. Police had witnessed the defendant driving without lights on, when he was signalled to stop he failed to do so. The vehicle stoped when it collided with a give way sign; the driver then ran from the vehicle. The passenger in the vehicle remained in the vehicle and was arrested for obstruction after he gave false details of who was driving the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle appeared in the Blenheim District Court yesterday morning. The 23 year old unemployed male will appear in the Blenheim District Court on 18/03/13 Incidents and accidents · At about 3.30pm Police were called to the Francis St entrance to the Boys' College where a group of ex-students had arrived to fight with current students as the left school. Two 16 year old boys were spoken to and were warned for their involvement in the fight.
