Over recent years, Blenheim Park Developments’ operations have been conducted from hired cabins, situated on their development sites across the city. When projects near completion, landscaping works dictate a move and the cabins are crained off-site and relocated at the next project.

The costs and inconveniences of regular moves have been unavoidable in the past. However, with the acquisition of a site in Millhouses and a new concept in office design, an outstanding contemporary office space is beginning to take shape for Sheffiled’s premier luxury building company.

The design of the office will be guided by a series of requests from the operations staff and directors. They aim to create a stimulating co-working space, an office building with a contemporary design with a secure structure. Another requirement is for the office to be easily deployable and to offer the function of being non-permanent.

The Blenheim Park Developments design team have provided the perfect solution; a structure made from shipping containers. The containers can be added to and stacked to enable future extensions and can also be connected to form a series of overhangs, small platforms and terraces.

The entrance lobby will create a striking first impression with feature living walls. To maximise the interior space, the office will benefit from an open flow with partitioned work spaces along with a board room with a meeting/drafting table for team

meetings and client consultations. The office will also accommodate staff facilities including a kitchen and WC. An alcove of the office will be utilised to provide storage which will be easily accessible for daily use.
