Biography: I am interested in doing a variety of assignments at my stated levels. I have a great interest in doing shoots i n a h u ge v a r i e t y o f l o c a t i o n s including inside and out. I have a tattoo at the bottom of my Right leg of the cancer research ribbon, The Chinese symbol for "Love" on my lower back, Along with a Scorpion with a flower on its tail on the outside of my Left Thigh I also have a tattoo if a feather quill with an ink-pot on my left shoulder blade. I like to think myself as a creative model to work with and lots of fun to be around. !
I would love to become more well known internationally and hopefully become signed to a top agency.
I got into modelling to boost my confidence after having my 1st Child and that helped a lot and that was over 4 years ago. I then took a short break due to having my 2nd child. I love the shoots themselves, the purchasing items for shoots, meeting and chatting to lots of new people from within the industry while also having my modelling profile on Facebook to have contact with my “fans�. !
In my spare time, in between spending time with my friends and family I enjoy listening to hardcore music (DJ Dougal, Scott Brown etc etc). Also walking my dog, working out, having fun with the kids and sometimes there is nothing better than a great massage.

It all started a few months ago back when I saw an ad for a beauty model needed to do a free hairstyle shoot with a MUA called Simmy Kaur. Of course I love anything that involves a pamper or a new look so along with lots of other hopefuls I put my name forward and sent a couple of pics. Not expecting too much I didn’t hold my breath as so many people had applied too. That evening I opened a message and to my surprise it was from Simmy asking me to come down to the Studio that week and I had been chosen to be that model for her sassy new hairstyle. I was so excited to say the least. After meeting with Simmy and having such a wonderful new style done we got chatting about life in general. I told her it was fantastic to feel amazing and I had some pics done too. Simmy explained she was also a MUA and worked along side a talented photographer called Deryck Banks and he was the features editor of a magazine called BLAZE. She showed me some BLAZE magazine T-shirts and I couldnt resist asking to try one on. Simmy said “Wow you look perfect!” and asked me if i wanted to do a shoot to advertise them. Of course I didnt hesitate and in fact whilst in front of the camera I felt 21 again. I had found a natural passion for modelling and it gave me a new lease of life. I felt special and happy and a want to do this more and more now. Having two children both on the autistic spectrum, I spent all my years devoting my life to both of them. It was hard at times, I love my kids to peices but felt as though they’re both more grown up now at 11 and 17, so I could breath a little more and with a really supportive parner Martin I could really balance family life and perhaps modelling too. Since then I’ve done many different shoots and I’m loving every moment. My kids love seeing my images and are proud of me as I am of them. I also got myself into college and became a MUA and beauty therapist so that really helped me too. I couldn't want for anything in my life with my family friends who support me and I am hoping to go forward and do even more jobs. Through modelling I got my first paid job a couple weeks ago and came home to hand it to my kids. That made me feel so content and happy. Life has now taken me though a different and exciting new venture and I was always a great mum but now I am also Rachel the model, Things are busy and new jobs are coming though most days. I feel empowered now to make it happen. If it weren't for Simmy and Deryck my life wouldn't have changed at all.

BLAZE MAGAZINE Natasha Chick ARTICLE Photographer: Richard Suiters SPS Photography Model: Natasha Chick MUA: Vanessa Martin Here are a few images from our horror / Halloween themed shoot, with ideas created by the model Natasha Chick. With makeup done by MUA Vanessa Martin, we tried to create a story behind the images. Although the two looks are very different, they both express different feelings and try to capture the reader’s attention and make them ask questions about the style and each image. !
For the first look we created a distressed woman/victim of a physically abusive attack. Natasha posed in a series of being in pain, being scared, being confused and shocked, and then feeling hopeless and giving up. For the second look, Vanessa, MUA created a skeletal character, portraying the significance of life and death. Between Richard, photographer and Natasha, model; we aimed to capture unusual poses that gave the impression of the bones and the skeletal structure in motion, whilst combining this with a human form. !

I am a freelance, female model with diverse experience in fashion, catalogue, catwalk, promotional and commercial modelling.
