Harmonicas have been in my past. Staff at Summer Camp. Settling interludes during pressured College Exam times. Quiet reflective sessions on the back deck at the family Home. Unlike structured times with clarinet in the High School band (theory, sheet music, practices early morning). Or a short expedition into guitar.

I retired from over 32 years in industry effective January 2022. Hobbies of music and photography have gained in enthusiasm and momentum. A decision to follow in the steps of a new friend with the busking. (I either get more proficient in performance out in public, or I simply appear as a sad, striving donkey.)

Happily the music is coming along, and it is because of Love and Frequency. Occasions arrive when passers-by want to stop and talk. This seems novel after over two years six months of COVID lockup and isolation. Face masks are coming off. Smiles and other expressions are showing again. Conversation, compassion and community. With her child at Home From a flu caught bad And her job stalled in the mix. She could ill afford This diversion sad. Did I think my tunes might fix? And a slight smile came As her Dragon tamed And the music said, What if, what if. (Happily today in the Park, I met new friends visiting Town. Anup and Jazz. Using bicycles from the Walper Hotel. They took in what I was trying to say. They got it.

Thankfully, many are getting it. Music and friendly exchanges are coming back.)

In the Bible story of Moses leading the children of Israel through the Wilderness, there comes the matter of the building of the Tabernacle, to house the Ark of the Covenant and other sanctified items. Moses needs help, and a team of craftsmen will be delegated. Foremost is Bezaleal. He is gifted with skills and anointing for the works of creativity and craftsmanship. God is a Creator. He loves to see enthused followers get into the work. He anoints in supernatural fashion for capability and adaptation far beyond the average. It is gifted. The recipient must never boast or become smug or self-assured. This applies to my music, and my photography and poetry. I am simply humbled and thankful. The Process continues. It is happy overflow.
