the hulk wants to punch his manicurist? Close. This lady is doing final touch-ups on the not-so-jolly green giant for a Marvel exhibition at Madame Tussauds in London. The same madam with the wax museum? Exactly. He is part of the Marvel Super Heroes 4D experience, currently running at the museum. Apart from seeing very realistic renditions of many Marvel heroes and villains, attendees also get to go on an adventure with a special 4D film. 4D? But we just got 3D? Will I need a new Television, again? No, 4D films combine 3D video with physical effects, such as moving seats and more. The 4D movie, nine minutes long, is a 360 degree experience using the special domed theatre at Madame Tussauds. What else is on show? The exhibition starts off with a visit to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, where you will encounter the 4.5 metre tall Hulk statue. Next stop is the Hall Of Heroes, where you can stand in Hulk’s grip, hang around with Spiderman on a ceiling, bend light with the Invisible Woman and compare claws with Wolverine’s footlongs (yup, that’s him on the right and that is a statue, not Hugh posing for a photo). Other areas include Iron Man’s workshop and something called the Mutant Mirror.

Are they paying you to write this stuff? Alas, no they are not, else we’d get some tickets to this. But it does sound pretty awesome. This is not the first time the museum has added fantastical characters – Spider-Man has had the wax treatment before and in the Vegas museum you can see Master Chief from Halo. But this looks like Tussauds’ biggest such exhibition yet.
