Kamal Pannu My name is Kamal Pannu. I immigrated to Canada in 1999 and moved to Abbotsford in September 2009. I founded and operate two successful childcare centres in Abbotsford by the name of New Leaf Learning and Childcare Centres. Working with children has always been my passion and as an early childhood educator, I understand the need and importance of investing in very young children as they are our future. I enjoy simple things in life and believe in having the attitude of gratitude.

Raeann Torrance When Valley Laser Eye Centre began major changes in 2014 to reshape their business, Raeann stepped in as Office Manager. She had been working for VLEC since 1998, with a 13 year break to take care of what was important; her children’s upbringing. Raeann came back to work in 2013. With little experience in managing staff, she quickly learned to lead a team that both respects and loves working with her. Raeann’s versatility and expertise in mentoring, mediating between employees, and in leading team projects, has helped shape VLEC’s remarkable reputation as a leading surgical eye centre that offers first class care for people around the world!

Munnarsh K. Vilvang Munnarsh K. Vilvang has been a practising lawyer in Abbotsford since 2011. She currently focuses on all areas of family law, while also assisting clients in personal injury matters such as ICBC claims. Munnarsh is fluent in the Punjabi language. Munnarsh is proud to be involved in a variety of local programs and to get to work alongside so many hard working women in the Abbotsford community. Kara Coleman Kara Coleman is the owner and visionary behind Parallel Yoga, a chic east-side yoga studio and retail boutique in Abbotsford’s Parallel Marketplace. Not only is she a dedicated business woman, she’s a valued yoga instructor whose background in athletics and human kinetics has led her to coach several of Abbotsford’s high school sports clubs in yoga for sports performance. Kara is also someone who practices what she preaches and runs her business like she does her family of five: with balance, love, humility, humour, and above all, patience.
