Curbside or Depot Items
The following items are accepted for both curbside collection and at the depot. Curbside items may be placed together in the collection bag. Depot items must be sorted into the following two (2) categories: Category 1 (containers):
PLASTIC
STEEL
CONTAINERS
ALUMINUM
CONTAINERS
CONTAINERS
PAPER PACKAGING
(CONTAINING LIQUIDS WHEN SOLD)
Category 2 (paper):
PAPER PACKAGING
(CONTAINING DRY ITEMS WHEN SOLD)
PRINTED PAPER
Depot Only Items The following items are accepted at the depot only. These items must not go in your curbside recycling bag. All items must be separated. Please note: plastic foam packaging must be separated into white and coloured. Category 3 (plastic bags and overwrap):
Category 4 & 5 (plastic foam packaging):
PLASTIC BAGS
PLASTIC FOAM PACKAGING
AND OVERWRAP
(SEPARATE WHITE & COLOURED)
Category 6 (glass):
GLASS
BOTTLES AND JARS
