To date, we have spent tens of millions of dollars in British Columbia during the planning phase of our project.
Pacific NorthWest LNG is a proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on Lelu Island within the District of Port Edward on land administered by the Prince Rupert Port Authority. The facility, representing an investment of approximately $11 billion, would export natural gas produced by Progress Energy Canada in northeast B.C. Both Pacific NorthWest LNG and Progress Energy Canada are majority owned by PETRONAS. Sinopec, JAPEX, Indian Oil Corporation and PetroleumBRUNEI are also shareholders in Pacific NorthWest LNG and its associated natural gas supply.
