MITRECIC, Ines G. (Brandt) August 9, 1957 February 21, 2015 Passed away peacefully at her home in Maple Ridge. Lovingly remembered by her children Danielle (Jamie) and Jason (Julie), father Janko (Maria), sister Lillian (Paul), niece Bristol and nephews Cooper and Liam. Predeceased by her mother Mira. A celebration of life will be held at Whonnock Lake Centre 27871-113th Ave. Maple Ridge on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maple Ridge SPCA or the charity of your choice.

Steve passed away surrounded by his family and close friends on March 11, 2015 in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 58. Steve is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Debby; daughters Kelly (Royce), Jody (Cale); grandchildren, Liam and Riley; and predeceased by his parents. Steve was born in Burnaby, BC to Frederick and Hazel Willis, their only child. He graduated from South Burnaby High school in 1975. He married Debby in 1981. They were long time residents of Maple Ridge, BC where they raised their children. He worked for Coast Mountain Bus Company as a Shift Service Supervisor for over 35 years. He was a kind soul who was always ready to lend a helping hand; he will be forever remembered as a dear husband, father, papa, co-worker and friend. A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday, March 27 at 1:00pm at Hart House Restaurant in Burnaby, BC. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Steve’s life.

Stevens, Dawn Dawn Stevens (Inglis) of Pitt Meadows passed peacefully at the Christine Morrison Hospice on March 15th, 2015. Dawn was born on November 1st, 1948 in Vancouver. She is survived by her 96 year old mother Joy Inglis, her brothers, Stephen Inglis (Erica Claus) and Dana Inglis (Barbara McKinnon), two children Neil Stevens and Suzanna Sawatzky (David Sawatzky) and their four children Emma, Griffin, Estelle, and Ruby. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as very special friends. She is predeceased by her father Robert Inglis. Dawn grew up in Vancouver and graduated from Lord Byng High School in 1968. After moving back and forth between Saskatchewan and BC she settled in the Fraser Valley. Dawn is a long time resident of Pitt Meadows and loved to be involved in the community. She was active in Garden Clubs, Quilting Clubs, Walking Clubs, as well as many social clubs. Most recently she lived at the Westbrooke in Pitt Meadows and enjoyed the diverse activities happening there. Always outgoing and kind, Dawn had many friends and touched many lives. She loved her grandchildren immensely and delighted in their company. She battled cancer with courage and grace. She stayed optimistic and found constant joy in life despite the limitations of her illness. She modeled fortitude and bravery to those who were near her. She will be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held this coming Saturday, March 21st 2015 at 3:30pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Maple Ridge. McLeans Funerals (604)847-3477
