will be strong as the Okanagan waves the flag July 1. Canada Day festivities fill Polson Park July 1, including live music, food and fun all day long. Then when it gets dark make sure you have a view of the DND grounds for the fireworks. Bring your national pride to Enderby for a Canada Day celebration like no other. From mobility scooter races to a parade to a classic car show to kids’ games to a free swim at the pool, there’s something for everybody. Falkland waves the biggest flag for its Canada Day celebrations. There, national pride is displayed year-round for all to see with its giant flag up on the hillside. In Armstrong, there’s not just one day of celebrations, the party starts two weeks prior to the big day. Countdown to Canada Day celebrations begin June 15 with fun activities for all ages including a bike rodeo, strawberry tea and music in the park Friday nights. The city also celebrates 25 years of Funtastic June 27 to 29. Then the big day, July 1, Memorial Park will be full activity. There will be cake, the Citizen of the Year presentation, Cod Gone Wild, petting zoo and a free swim.
