Chellew Roger In loving memory of Roger who passed away after a long battle with cancer on January 28, 2014 the age of 72 at Chilliwack General Hospital with his loving wife Val, brother Ross, niece Megan and other family members at his side. Roger will always be remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 49 years, Val; daughter Tanya; sons Dan and Darrell and daughter-in-law Jeannette; grandchildren Courtney, Nevada, Sam and Brandon and many other family members throughout Canada.
With deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt & friend, on Tues. Feb. 11, 2014, at the Abbotsford Hospital. Susan was born in Whitehorse, Yukon, moving to Chilliwack when she was fourteen. There she met Randy, her one true love, and they were married almost 37 years ago. They had two boys, Colton and Garett, who were her pride and joy. She and Randy were heavily involved with Chilliwack Minor Football when the boys were young and her happiest moments were when playing with her three “boys”. When granddaughter Jamie was born, Susan threw herself into the role of grandmother with joy, spending many happy hours making “memory books” with her. Susan’s strength and courage were portrayed when she was predeceased by her son, Colton. That same strength and courage carried her through her valiant battle with cancer. Susan was a loving and lovely person. Her family and friends will miss her terribly. She leaves to mourn her loving husband and best friend, Randy; her son Garett (Jeannette); granddaughter Jamie; and a multitude of family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Greendale MB Church gymnasium (6550 Sumas Prairie Rd) on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 1 - 3 p.m.

Alex passed away in Kamloops in his 90th year. Born in Alberta, he spend his early school years in Chilliwack. Alex will be sadly missed by his wife, Elfrieda; daughter, Louise (Ron) Kreise; son, Brian (Rose-Anne); daughter, Charlotte (Bruce) Heaven; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews; sister, Florence Blow; and sister Dorothy (Ray) Hickin. Alex served his country in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII. Would you believe, he lied about his age to join the navy? After the war, he married Elfrieda Martin and raised his family in Kamloops where he was employed by the CNR until his retirement. Alex had many friends and was forever helping friends and neighbours, was an avid curler, a member of the Moose Lodge in Kamloops and it would be amiss not to mention that Alex cold whoop it up on the dance floor. He was somewhat of an avid hunter. He showed his savvy with a shotgun at an early age by mistaking a whooping crane for a Canada Goose. The shovel brigade was immediately alerted to hide the evidence. Alex was predeceased by his mother and father; one son, Douglas, in Kamloops; brother’s: Fred Lubin of Victoria and Art Lubin of Edmonton; one sister, Anne Bullington; her husband Harold of Chilliwack; two grandsons: Fred and Burke Bullinton; and brother-inlaw, Floyd Blow. Yes Alex, you will be missed by all who knew you, a fun-loving guy...
