Your generosity helps us make the following possible: The Lighthouse Resource Centre ~ Hot Lunch Program, Mental Health & Addiction Services, Extreme Weather Shelter, Emergency Assistance, Advocacy, Spiritual Care, Recovery Groups, Computers & Telephone Services, Income Tax Preparation, & Volunteerism. Christmas Kettle Campaign We surpassed our goal and raised over $18,000. Thank you to the volunteers, community, businesses, media and hosts (Overwaitea Foods, & the Liqour Store) for giving so generously and helping us exceed our fundraising goal.
The Salvation Army Mt. Waddington Community Ministries focuses on social services helping to provide the basic needs of food, clothing, shelter, and emergency assistance. This includes addressing such needs as homelessness, addictions, abuse, food security and advocacy. The purpose of all our programs and services is to meet people “where they are at” without judgment.
