1932 - 2014 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our Mom on January 18, 2014. Mom is survived by daughters Glennis (Bill), Gayle, Karen (Barry), Kerry (Gib), also 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. No service by request. Willick, Alan Peter Luke

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden loss of Alan Willick, who passed away at the age of 85 on January 21, 2014 in Coldstream B.C. Al was born on the farm near Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan on October 18th, 1928, the youngest of 8 children. Alan went to Fort St. James B.C as a young man and worked and raised his family there for 40 years. He served the community as an Alderman, Volunteer Fire Fighter, Hockey coach and general go to guy to ¿[ anything. Alan and Lil spent their retirement years in Coldstream (near Vernon) loving his garden, woodworking and enjoying family visits. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Lillian, and a large family of 7 sons, 2 daughters, 16 grand children and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Mary from Bellingham, Washington and many nieces and nephews. In memory of Alan, a simple act of kindness to others would be appreciated. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 27th at 1:00 at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Coldstream B.C. Prayers will be held on Sunday evening at 5:00

Edna is lovingly remembered by her children: Simon, Lydia, RaymondͬDooley (Marilyn), Cecilia (Chris), Luke, David, Mary (Weter) Gregoire-Hnidan, Anne (George), Gerard (Connie), BernadeƩe (Watrick) Gregoire-Thompson, Fabian (Vivian); 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Jean, Andrew, and Lillian; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her strong Catholic faith, guided her safely to the hands of the Lord God Jesus Christ. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 25, 2014 at St. Benedict͛s Church (Head of the Lake Road, Vernon, BC) with Father Tony Ackerman oĸciaƟng. January 24th of 99’ was a day we’ll never forget, God called you home for reasons unknown,

David ũoined the Royal Airforce under age in 1943 and served unƟl 1947. He was a Rear Gunner in a Lancaster Bomber in the II World War. He immigrated to Canada in 1953 and soon met and married Dorothy Jaīray. AŌer Dorothy͛s passing, David married Irene Callingham. He had various employers in Vernon over the years unƟl his reƟrement at the age of 55 years. David was a very gentle and arƟsƟc man who loved Ňy-Įshing, painƟng, bowling and was considered by many, the worlds greatest Įx-it-man͊ He had two maũor dislikes in his life, taƩoos and men who swore in front of women and children. In respecƟng David͛s wishes, he was cremated and no service will be held.
