Thank You! Thank you for your support to help raise funds and awareness for Cops for Cancer and the 2013 Tour de Rock. The NEWS team of Joan, Neill and Peter, took it all off at the Parksville Rotary “Beer & Burger” fundraiser at the Bayside Inn, Thursday September 26th. Our goal was to raise $5000. We were overwhelmed by your support, and were able to raise over $6900, with pledges still coming in. Donations ranged from $10 and $20, to Hero ($100) and Champion ($250). Every dollar counts. The community raised funds at the event for Camp Goodtimes and our local rider, Corporal Jesse Foreman from the Oceanside RCMP.
