George Greenaway Elementary was a humming hive of economic – and charitable – activity earlier this month, when students held an entrepreneur fair. Presented by students in Grade 5, along with some kids in Grades 6 and 7, children from in other classes and parents were invited to drop by the fair, where students sold everything from duct tape rings, bird houses and jewellery to piggy banks, key chains, flower pots and paper weights. The students sold merchandise they had researched, developed, created and marketed Jedrek Dueck was selling themselves. bird feeders pre-loaded The young entreprewith seed, paddle board neurs donated as much as games, and masks. 10 per cent of their profits to charity, while Grade 7 members of the Me to We Club also took part, collecting donations for a water pump for a village in Kenya.
