SPCA seeking public input Morning Star Staff
The B.C. SPCA is seeking public input about important animal issues facing communities as it begins a strategic planning process to guide its programs and services from 2014 to 2018. “We were able to accomplish incredible steps forward for animals in our province during the last five-year strategic plan and we’re very excited about building on this success,” said Craig Daniell, chief executive officer. “As we move forward, it is very important that we hear from our supporters, our staff and volunteers, community leaders, veterinarians and members of the public about their priorities for animals in our province.” Daniell says the overwhelming number of animal issues in B.C. creates a challenge for the SPCA as it decides how best to use its resources to create more humane communities across the province. “We are incredibly
