Speeding driver nabbed yet again
Bite me.
Two cars impounded in 17 months Vikki HOPES Abbotsford News
A man who was among 13 drivers who had their high-end vehicles impounded for excessive speeding in 2011 experienced the same situation in Abbotsford on Friday night. Const. Ian MacDonald said two Abbotsford Police officers were driving along South Parallel Road at about 10:30 p.m. when they spotted a driver in an Audi S6 going speeds of between 160 and 170 km/h along Highway 1. The posted speed limit on the freeway is 100 km/h. The driver was pulled over near Cole Road, and it was discovered that he only had his driver’s licence returned two days before. He had lost his licence following an incident on Aug. 31, 2011 along Highway 99 near the Massey Tunnel in Richmond
when he was also driving an Audi, but a different model. At that time, police received multiple reports of several vehicles travelling along the freeway at speeds of up to 200 km/h. The drivers exited into Surrey, where RCMP officers were able to stop six of the 13 cars – a Ferrari, a Maserati, a Lamborghini, a Mercedes, an Audi and a Nissan R Series. White Rock RCMP stopped the other seven vehicles along Johnston Road. All of the vehicles were impounded and each driver was charged with driving without reasonable consideration. MacDonald said following Friday’s incident in Abbotsford, the driver’s car was impounded, and the superintendent of motor vehicles will determine what additional penalties will result.

Named after the Naga tribes of India, Dorset Naga peppers are one of the hottest in the world. They have a very intense fruity, smoky flavour, and used sparingly add not only heat but great taste to recipes. The capsicum found in hot peppers also has medicinal purposes.
