fall. The symphony is presenting Popular Pleasures, which features Cirque de la Symphonie, The Best of Elton John and Ken Lavigne. Cirque de La Symphonie is Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The show combines acrobatics and music such as Carmen and ballets such as Swan Lake. The show is a collaboration among Russian aerialist Alexander Streltsov, Vladimir Tsarkov, Elena Tsarkova and Christine Van Loo. The performance combines acrobatic artistry with the music of the symphony. The Best of Elton John is set for Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. It offers fan-favourites like Your Song and Tiny Dancer. The Jeans’n Classics Band with vocalist Jean Meilleur, drummer Jeff Christmas, pianist Donald Paulton and bassist Kevin Mueller join the symphony. Ken Lavigne joins the symphony on Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. Lavigne will sing love songs of the ages from clas-
