PLAN NUMBER 1-3-599 RANCH-STYLE CHARMER

This ranch-style charmer with its arts-and-crafts ornamentation is sure to delight any family looking for a home with the living area all on one floor. Most new builds require electrical outlet boxes to be placed 12" off the floor. Adding an extra 4" and placing them 16" inches high, however, can be a lot more convenient and will not affect the look of the room. It's also useful to think about where furniture will be located and place the outlets accordingly; for instance, directly behind side tables instead of behind the sofa, to avoid running unsightly cords along walls unnecessarily.
