Wilfred Lee Simon 1934-2012 It is with heavy hearts the family of Wilfred Simon announce his passing on February 17, 2012 at the age of 78. Wilfred was born in Saskatchewan. The Simon family moved to BC in 1934. Wilfred was raised on the family farm in Mayook. Wilfred married Gail Hansen in 1961 and they had three children, Kevin, Lane and Shelley. Wilfred and Gail divorced. Later Wilfred married Sue Gyurkovits. They raised her three children, Deneen, Shayne and Chad. Wilfred was predeceased by his parents Alta and Elizabeth, brothers Lance and Neil, sisters Lilly and Caroline. Wilfred leaves to mourn his passing his wife Sue, his children, and his grandchildren, also his brothers Lawrence (Bonnie), Floyd (Sandra), his sister Katherine, along with numerous nieces and nephews. No service was held by his request.
