Field Challenges and Exciting Future Developments

Field Challenges

• Logistics challenge: operating 17+ farmer sites simultaneously.

• Change in the agro scenario: unexpected come-back of cows at farms, hence increase in costs / fences.

• Restoration infrastructure: BJF is building this new economic model from scratch in South Pará and Tocantins.

• Inflation and demand: Drastic increase of costs in the past years - from € 4 (2020) to € 8 per tree (2024) for all 17 Steps of Restoration.

Future Developments

• Thanks part to the support of our sponsor partners, BJF is building its reputation as one of the leading restoration organizations in Brazil!

• BJF is expanding now from 2 to 7 municipalities!

• BJF Impact Projects are making real positive impacts (Biodiversity – Social – Economic )

• With your support, ready to scale up our model of making impacts and setting an example to revive other dying drying rivers.
