Your most flexible option! Choose how you attend each class—on campus, live online, or anytime online. You can mix and match from week to week. It's learning on your terms.
Meet on campus weekly with faculty and classmates. A classic classroom experience, supported with some online work.
Complete your coursework online from anywhere. Some courses may require in-person assessments or proctored exams.
A mix of in-person and online learning—at least 50% of the content is delivered online, with regular on-campus sessions.

Tuition rates at Wisconsin's technical colleges are set by the Wisconsin Technical College System Board and are consistent statewide. For the 2025–2026 academic year, Wisconsin residents pay:
• $152.85 per credit for degree and diploma programs
• $192.20 per credit for Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees

Each year, more than 200 students receive scholarships through the Blackhawk Foundation. Of our 80+ scholarships, some are for applicants in particular fields of study or geographic areas while others are intended to help students overcome personal or financial hardships. Whatever the circumstance, all students are encouraged to apply.

Visitors and prospective students are encouraged to take a tour of any of Blackhawk's campus locations. Tours usually last for approximately 35 minutes and are often led by student ambassadors or a member of the Admissions Department. During your visit, the college will provide program, financial aid, and admission information as well as a first-hand look at any career area that may interest you.
Learn about programs of interest, take a campus tour, and learn what resources are available to you. You will also learn about what's required of you through the Admission, Financial Aid, and Testing processes.
Join us during Talons Exploration Days and preview the college experience. These events will also review financial aid, program exploration, and student life. Events are open to all in grades 8-12.

Whether you're a graduating high school student, adult learner, or transfer student – the application process is free and completely online. Access application right from our homepage at blackhawk.edu.
Please request your high school or college transcripts via a verified and secure third-party sender such as Parchment, to Blackhawk. You may also have them mailed directly from the institution.
Once you’re accepted, you will complete the Advising, Registration, and Onboarding (ARO) process, which will allow you to register for classes and prepare you for the first day of the semester.
