Kevrenna App - Cornish stories as you walk – FREE interactive family adventure trail

Cornish Mining stories brought to life as you walk along!

Cousin Jack’s theatre company has developed a FREE, interactive outdoor family adventure trail with Cornish tech firm Data Duopoly, bringing real-life local stories to life on the Tin Coast.

Kevrenna is a 40min circular walk between Geevor and Levant which starts from Geevor’s car park. Using GPS and gamification, users follow directional arrows to unlock micro-films (around 1 minute) when certain points are reached along the trail. Performed by well-known local actors, these short films feature stories that bring the visitors current location to life. After each clip, families will have to answer a question or take a nature photo to win a golden bezant.

Kevrenna adventurers must collect fifteen golden bezants by the time they get back to the Geevor mine car park. The interactive trail can be accessed via the Tin Coast app, XplorTINCOAST. Just download the app from tincoast.co.uk or there is signage around the Tin Coast featuring a QR code, advising visitors to download the app. The exciting, gamified trail is for families with children aged 5-11. https://www.cousinjacks.org/kevrenna www.dataduopoly.com
