Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they wave goodbye to wartime Britain and embark on a magical adventure in a frozen, faraway land where they meet a Faun, talking Beavers, the noble king of Narnia, Aslan, and The White Witch (pictured above). 8 to 12 Mar: Disney’s classic movie of Mary Norton’s book Bedknobs and Broomsticks makes its world premiere as an exciting new stage musical. With the original songs by the legendary Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang). The Rawlins children are evacuated from wartime London to live with trainee witch Eglantine Price. Fabulous adventures ensure with an enchanted bedknob, a bewitched broomstick and a magical flying bed!

Presented by Tom Redmond, these lively and accessible concerts explore opera and classical music in an entertaining and interactive style, with music you’ll recognise from film, television and the stage. Tom leads you through the programme with fun facts and singalongs, introduce you to WNO singers and members of WNO Orchestra and tell you a bit more about the pieces being performed. Editor - You only have to look at this video link to see how much the children are enjoying it! WNO productions look wonderful and seriously entertaining. The free family activities before the concert look and sound really good too, just turn up from 1pm.
