Ten grades down, three to go. Welcome to tenth grade!

Here’s what you can expect this year. Your student will explore the elements of literature in a variety of genres from both British and American authors. Your child will also continue to build an impressive portfolio of written work. This year’s history course will trace major patterns in world history and explore the cultural ideas and practices of civilizations. Your child will study cell biology, genetics, and zoology and discuss current issues including abortion, stem cell research, and cancer. The Bible course for this year will summarize the Bible’s teaching on key doctrines and apply those doctrines to real-life decisions.

Each of your student’s courses this year will teach foundational biblical principles, encourage thoughtful discussion, and offer exciting hands-on activities. Each subject also provides learning objectives to give clear indicators of how well your student is doing.

The finish line of your student’s homeschool journey is steadily approaching, and though that finish line may come with mixed feelings, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have supported you along the way. As your student establishes personal perspectives and opinions on our current culture, we want to equip you to guide and build beliefs on the authority of God’s Word. We are excited to shape the next generation with you for the glory of God! Let’s take a look at your tools for this year.
