Welcome to seventh grade—the middle year of middle school.

This is another critical year for your student. Your child will further develop study skills, write stories and informational pieces, and examine the economies and religions of specific civilizations. Your student will also use geometry to calculate measures, area, and volume, collect and interpret statistical data, and classify living things! The Bible course for this year offers an in-depth look at the Old Testament in connection with the big story of Scripture. This course will also enable your child to study the Bible inductively and apply biblical truths to real-life situations.

Each of your child’s courses teaches foundational biblical principles, provokes thorough discussions, gives careful assessments, and facilitates exciting hands-on activities. Each subject also has designated learning objectives to help you assess your student’s academic strengths and weaknesses.

We are excited to help you as you lead your student through these critical moments of learning. You are the best person to guide your child’s studies, and we are excited for you as you watch your child’s potential blossom and broaden. Let’s look at what you will need for this year!

World Studies (4th edition)

World Studies will take students on a journey through time, beginning with the Old Testament covenants and later the birth of the church and continuing with the rise of Islam and a survey of nations around the world from about AD 1000 to the present. It inspires students to see history through a biblical worldview and learn from the successes and mistakes of the past.
