Get Started with the Academy of Home Education

Take advantage of the many benefits the AHE team offers by getting started as soon as possible! The application process is easy.

Check Your Eligibility

In addition to being homeschooled, students must meet eligibility requirements for membership in the Academy of Home Education.

Requirements for Elementary and Middle School

• Take a standardized-achievement test and achieve at least the 5th stanine in all areas.

• Agree to use BJU Press materials for all areas that are available.

Requirements for High School

High school students must be 12 years old or older, and they must

• Submit an official transcript of previously completed high school courses (if starting after freshman year). Additional fees to transfer high school transcript.

• Agree to use BJU Press materials for all areas that are available.

• Take a standardized-achievement test and achieve at least the 5th stanine in all areas, and

• Take a learning-abilities test and achieve a score of at least 90.

Applications

Call or visit bjupresshomeschool.com/content/ahe-admissions to apply. Applications are due by August 11, 2023. We will accept late applications, but an additional fee will apply.

Application fees are $75 for grades 1–8 and $125 for high school. Contact the AHE team or a HomeWorks consultant to apply.

• Accredited Track: $399 per student

• Non-accredited Track: $249 per student
