Grade 6

Sixth grade! Welcome to the beginning of middle school.

This is a year of significant transition for students as they establish their personal worldviews, enhance study skills, and deepen their cultural understanding. Students will also strengthen their study skills as those will be crucial in upcoming grades. This year, your student will also analyze and interpret literary texts, use ratios, proportions and percentages, and study living organisms, electricity, and the immune system! Your student’s Bible course this year will examine God’s grand plan of redemption and introduce multiple Bible-study tools including cross-references, Bible dictionaries, and Bible commentaries.

Each of your child’s courses feature foundational biblical principles, thorough discussions, careful assessments, and exciting hands-on activities. Each subject also has designated learning objectives to give you a clear sense of how your student is progressing through the course.
