Heritage Studies (4th edition)
Children learn about the structure of their world—families, church, the United States government, citizenship, and work—within the framework of God’s redemptive plan. Lessons include creative introductions to concepts, guided reading of the student text, and engaging video segments to reinforce, illustrate, and expand concepts.
Math (3rd edition)
Manipulatives and real-life experiences are used to teach place value, addition, subtraction, geometry, time, money, measurement, and fractions. Writing equations, reading graphs, and other concepts are introduced as problem-solving skills. Join Cecilia the Seal for fun with games and activities. Digit the Clown searches all over town for a new job while reinforcing the importance of problem-solving skills.
Spelling (3rd edition)
This course helps students to learn how to use phonics and generalizations to find the patterns in words so they can begin to use spelling skills to communicate effectively. Word sorting and word study activities strengthen the students’ understanding of word patterns that are necessary to spell correctly. Both the parent-led and video course options include enjoyable guided activities for practice and application. The video course also offers review and application opportunities through engaging segments. Scheduling options are available to spread the thirty weekly word lists over 150 to 180 days.
