Jorge

I am a Ceramist and Specialist in Ceramic Materials Research, with over 15 years of study and practice in the field of artistic ceramics. Throughout my career, I have developed more than 500 glazes with my own formulations, exploring innovative combinations of materials and techniques that merge ceramic tradition with a contemporary approach. My work is characterized by constant experimentation, the search for new finishes and textures, and respect for ancient ceramic techniques. My technical training in artistic ceramics, complemented by studies in sculpture and various teaching experiences, has enabled me to create projects that not only reflect my passion for ceramics but also my commitment to researching new creative processes. Through my work, I have integrated ceramics into various contexts, from the artistic to the educational, highlighting the importance of ceramics as a tool for personal expression and community connection. For me, ceramics is a means of communication between emotions and materials, a way of exploring the boundaries between tradition and innovation. My vision is to continue developing my career as a ceramist, sharing my knowledge with the community, and providing an accessible space that allows both young and adult people to discover ceramics as a path for personal, artistic, and social growth.
